김정기뮤지엄의 다섯 번째 전시 'Unedited'는 작가의 드로잉을 '편집되지 않은 상태'라는 개념으로 조명합니다. 

그의 작업은 사전 스케치 없이, 머릿속에 떠오른 이미지를 즉흥적으로 화면 위에 펼쳐내는 방식으로 그 과정 자체가 곧 완성이 됩니다. 

'Unedited'라는 제목은 이러한 창작 방식을 그대로 담고 있습니다. 이번 전시에서는 이러한 다양한 드로잉과 함께 

 영화 미쓰GO(Miss Conspirator 2012)와 넷플릭스 애니메이션 귀무자(Onimusha 2023) 작업을 함께 소개합니다. 

미쓰GO의 애니메이션 작화 원화와 아이디어 스케치, 귀무자의 캐릭터 디자인 드로잉 등 그동안 공개되지 않았던 작업들이 처음으로 전시됩니다. 

이를 통해 작가의 즉흥적 사고와 확장된 작업 세계를 보다 입체적으로 살펴보실 수 있습니다. 

평소 드로잉과는 또 다른 결의 작업들을 통해 작가의 폭넓은 작업 세계를 경험하실 수 있는 이번 전시에 많은 관심과 성원을 부탁드립니다.

The fifth exhibition of the Kim Jung Gi Museum, 'Unedited,' explores the artist’s drawings through the concept of the 'unedited.' 

His work is created without preparatory sketches, unfolding spontaneously on the surface as images emerge from his mind, with the process itself becoming the finished work. 

The title 'Unedited' reflects this very approach to creation. 

 This exhibition brings together a selection of such drawings alongside works related to the film Miss Conspirator (2012) and the Netflix animated series Onimusha (2023). 

Presented for the first time are original animation drawings and conceptual sketches from Miss Conspirator, as well as previously unreleased character design drawings from Onimusha. 

These works extend the artist’s practice into narrative and collaborative contexts, offering insight into how his improvisational methodology operates across different media. 

Together, these works expand the understanding of Kim Jung Gi’s practice beyond his well-known drawings, showing how his spontaneous approach extends into different media and contexts. 

Through this exhibition, visitors are invited to experience both the immediacy and the breadth of the artist’s creative world.
